I will teach you how to free hand machine quilt your individual squares, how to join them together and then how to bind the quilt.
A pre cut kit (pictured) is included in this class so it can be completed within the class time and you you will take home a “sampler”.
Things you need to bring:
Your sewing machine in good working order and be able to drop your Feed Dog.
Sewing supplies like scissors, quilting pins or regular pins and cotton (white or light pink)
Monofil thread – this is a fine Polyamid transparent thread used for machine quilting and invisible seaming. – I do sell this should you not be able to get it elsewhere.
Walking Foot for your machine. – If you do not have a Walking Foot for your machine then you will need to buy one. They can be a little expensive however you can not quilt successfully without it as it allow you to run multiple layers of fabric through your machine with ease. This is a lifetime investment as you can use it for general sewing projects.
Darning foot for your machine – This allows you to easily do your free hand machine embroidering. You can do without one but having one will make it easier. Most machines now-a-days come with one.
