Felting Pods – working with “resist”


Try your hand at the ancient craft of felt making by making decorative “pods”.

Whether you have felted before or not I will guide you through the process of using “resist” in felt making to make some cute little “pods”.


All materials you need on the day are supplied, with a large range of colours.

Cost: $65.00 per person, includes all materials. Maximum of 6 people.

In this class I cover the technique of using “resist” in felt making to create a three dimensional object.  Once you have learnt how to use “resist” in felt making there really is no limit to what you can make.   “Resist” is when you use a piece of flexible material that prevents the wool fibres from felting to itself.  Once you have mastered the skill of using “resist” then you can go on to make bags, hats, slippers, cat pods….. I really need to make a cat pod!   A cat pod is just a giant pod!

Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Class fees will be refunded or alternative date offered if the class is cancelled by The Fabric and Felt Studio.
There will be a $20.00 cancellation fee for any cancellation with the remaining fee refunded.
Alternatively the class can be gifted to a friend should you not be able to make it.
No refund will be offered once the class or class course has begun.
