Felt Tote Bag


Karen Wright from Zenzero Design will be your tutor and guide you through the process of making this easy to make, multi functional tote bag.

Sorry this is not a learn to sew class.   You will need to be an experienced sewer and be familiar with your sewing machine.


You will learn how to create their own felt tote bag.   Karen will guide you step by step through the assembly process, how to stitch the bag panels together, how to construct the interior fabric pocket with zip closure, how to attach the fabric trim to the exterior pocket, how to attach the leather straps and handles using the hardware provided.



What’s included:

A customised kit will be provided to each attendee.

With a choice of either black, charcoal, grey or cream felt.

Along with a choice of a black, chocolate brown or tan leather handle.


Tea and coffee and biscuits.


What to bring:

Sewing machine in good working order.

Scissors, pins, tape measure, rotary cutter, thread, bobbin,

Your choice of .5m trim fabric,

7in zip to match your choice of fabric

Zipper foot

Light lunch

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

8 days or more out a full refund is given.

2-7 days out we will refund 50% of the workshop fee or if you prefer, a voucher to the value of 50% of the workshop fee.

Within 1 day before OR on the day of the scheduled workshop time – sorry, no refund will be available.

You can however offer your spot to a friend or family member. Please just let us know if this is the case.

If, for any reason, Zenzero Design or the Fabric and Felt Studio has to cancel a workshop (due to insufficient numbers or illness), we will offer you a choice of:
* full refund
* a voucher to the value of the workshop
* a transfer to the same workshop being held at another time

Please note:
Your withdrawal from a workshop may lead to complete cancellation of the class for all prospective participants if your withdrawal causes numbers to fall below sustainable levels. Preparation for each workshop requires the purchasing of and preparation of workshop materials and kits.
