Quilters Muslin is the American term for our homespun. Don’t think this is the light weight muslin traditionally used to sieve cheese!
Ok so you have just bought some beautiful fabric…the main fabric for your project…say a quilt. You just love it, you spent more than you thought you would because you just had to have THAT fabric. Now you need some plains for say your boarders or binding. PLEASE don’t scrimp on your plains and buy cheap homespun as you will be disappointed in the end. Cheaper homespuns are usually low in thread count and use a lower quality graded cotton.
If you are going to spend your valuable time making something beautiful then buy the best you can afford. This Emma Louise Quilters Muslin is just the most beautiful fabric, it is soft to touch and beautiful to sew. It is made in Japan from heigh quality cotton with a high thread count. Believe me once you have worked with this fabric, you will never buy cheap homespun again!
