Postage & FAQ’s



We offer a “pick up” option, so if you live in Brisbane and would like to pick up your parcel to save on postage just select the “local pick up” option at checkout.

Shipping Australia Wide via Regular Post. All orders will be posted within 24 hours unless otherwise advised.

Postage and package is calculated by weight and will be calculated upon checkout. Simply add products to your cart and the system will calculate a postage cost before you need to process payment.

Sometimes it is hard for the system to calculate the exact weight when a small item is added to a large more heavier item so should there be a large discrepancy  at the time of posting your parcel a refund will be given.

Standard and Registered Mail delivery (2-7 business days)

Express Postage is also available at an additional cost. Please select this option at checkout.

Express Delivery (1 business day within the Australia Post Express Post Network, some regional areas may take longer. (More information can be found on the Australia Post Website.)

Registered Post is also available at an additional cost. This service offers proof of posting, signature on delivery, insurance for up to $100 in value and unique identification number. Please select this option at checkout.

The fabric and felt Studio is not responsible for damage or lost parcels by Australia Post but will be more than happy to lodge a formal enquiry with Australia Post should your parcel not arrive.


I now ship to the USA, New Zealand and South Africa  yeah!       If you happen to live in a country where I haven’t set up immediate shipping availability don’t worry just contact me via the contact page and I will organise for any item to be sent to you!

International customers  – There are two options 1.Regular mail where there is no tracking of your parcel, and 2. Registered mail (recommended) where you get the added security of your merchandise up to 2kg to almost any address in the world and compensation up to aud$100.00 being available.

The Fabric and Felt Studio is not responsible for damage or lost parcels  but will be more than happy to lodge a formal enquiry with Australia Post should your parcel not arrive.

Please note that the customer, and not The Fabric and Felt Studio who is responsible for paying any import duties or taxes and associated fees on orders when you import into your country. Please check your country’s import regulations for details.


Fabric and Trims

Any cancellation of an order, before fabric or trim is cut I am happy to offer a refund less any Paypal or bank fees that I incur.

Once fabric or trim is cut I do not offer a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind or if the colour is not what you thought it to be. While I make every effort to represent colour accurately, every monitor shows it differently and I cannot guarantee the colours you see will exactly match the colours of the actual fabric or trim. With this in mind should you want to request a sample of my fabrics and trims just drop me an email and I will be more than happy to send you a small snippet that will be posted in a regular size envelope at no charge to yourself.

Once ordered I will always check my fabric and trim before posting but should there be a fault in the fabric please contact me immediately to discuss the matter and I will replace it upon receiving the faulty fabric.

Handmade items:

Felted items:  Please choose your felted items carefully as I do not offer a refund should you change your mind once you have received the item.

Patterns and Kits:

No refund on Patterns or Kits including Patterns due to possible copyright infringements.



Payment is accepted by PayPal, Credit Card (through PayPal), Bank Deposit,  and cash on pick up.


It is reassuring to know that PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Bank Deposit

Bank transfer details are included on your order confirmation which you should receive via email upon placing your order. Please send via email, confirmation that payment has been made. If your payment is not received within 5 business days your order will be cancelled.
