Christmas sewing projects!

Well it always does come around quickly!    Christmas that is, and this year I have some great Christmas sewing project using panels.   So simple to sew that even the kids can make them!

Christmas Stockings

If you are after something to celebrate our Australian Christmas then these panels are just for you.   Festive Friends Stockings in Cockatoo and Koala.

Finished stocking measures approx 53cm long  and 26cm – 36cm wide.

Here are some of my Saturday morning sewing kids showing off their stockings!

There is also a great Australian themed Advent Calendar.    This can be purchased as panel or a kit that includes everything you need to complete the calendar.

If you are wanting perhaps a white Christmas themed stocking, then Jolly Santa Stocking might be for you.    This panel also has present tags and tree ornaments  you can sew.  Add a little batting and quilt for a nice effect.

Jolly Santa also comes in a stocking advent calendar!   This can also be purchased as panel or a kit. Each finished mini stocking is approximately 15 cm or 6 inches high. These can be hung randomly on the Christmas tree or hung in order on ribbon or Ric Rac.

Personally myself I love the Scandi series of Christmas Stockings and Advent Calendar’s.   Available in Red or Grey these make a lovely pre Christmas gift. Again available in a kit or just the panel itself.

The Scandi Christmas Stocking panel gives you two stockings and 8 gift tags/tree ornaments.

If you like to dress up your home then I have some fun Christmas cushion patterns from the talented Claire Turpin.    The pattern includes layout and instructions for two cushions.    Appliqué pieces can be hand cut or you can use a Scan N Cut machine.
