Sew a Leather Trimmed Clutch Bag

Join me in my Studio Friday 21 May with Karen Wright from Zenzero Design to learn how to create your own leather trimmed clutch bag.

Karen, my guest textile artist will be guiding you step by step through the construction process, including the trimming of the zip ends, joining fabric and leather panels, attaching panels to the zip, completing seams and finishing their clutch with leather zip pull.

Sorry but this is not a learn to sew class, you will need to be a competent sewer and  must have sewn in a zipper before.

Cost of $105.00 includes the Kit, three hours tuition and morning tea.

Kit includes pre-cut leather, wadding, metal zip, hardware, leather needle, upholstery thread and instruction sheet.  You should complete the clutch in the allocated time.

Karen from Zenzero will be in contact prior to the workshop to provide a list of what to bring, along with confirmation as to your leather colour preference (black or tan) so that the kits can be prepared prior to arrival, metal zips will also be available for purchase should you forget to bring your own. Leather sewing machine needles will be provided needles for use on the day, and additional kits will be for sale should you wish to purchase another kit to take home.
